Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage proactively with clients to address disputes and recover overdue payments.
  • Investigate and resolve customer discrepancies, which may involve reviewing customer documentation, conducting local ERP investigations, collaborating with team members, and consulting with management.
  • Work closely with the Accounting Department to achieve organizational objectives.
  • Authorize the release of credit holds by assessing customer payment plans, histories, and credit limits; coordinating necessary communications.
  • Assist in month-end closing activities, including preparing journal entries and monthly account statements.
  • Review accounts promptly and efficiently.
  • Generate weekly status reports.
  • Facilitate and verify credit card transactions.
  • Perform general administrative tasks such as filing and managing routine correspondence.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as required.

Essential Skills:

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Capability to identify and research pertinent information.
  • Proficient in managing multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is required.
  • 3+ years of accounting experience is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with SAP is advantageous but not essential.
  • Experience in Data Analysis is a plus but not required.

Accounts Receivable Specialists typically work Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, with flexible scheduling options available. This role involves working three days onsite and two days remotely each week.
