Position: Mail & Fulfillment Specialist Status: Hourly/Non-Exempt
Department: Operations
Job Summary:
The Mail & Fulfillment Specialist is responsible for assisting with jobs to be completed for each individual company and for the operations of the production area. This position will work closely with the Mail Department staff regarding the flow of work, giving special attention to timeliness and quality of work completed.
The Mail & Fulfillment Specialist reports to the Mail & Fulfillment Manager.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Satisfy individual company’s request for mailing requirements while maintaining quality standards, meeting deadlines and within established policies and standards.
Participate in on-going professional development with USPS training and updates.
Offer identified opportunities that enable the participant to develop the ability to communicate effectively with others, such as supervisors, co-workers, and customers (the public)
Regular attendance at meetings to discuss plans and developments affecting program area.
Monitor and ensure participants rights and welfare are not jeopardized.
Ensure the participants are in a safe, clean, and comfortable environment.
Maintain the level of standards in compliance with relevant Medicaid regulations.
Comply with personnel policies as set forth by the Harbor House of Louisville, Inc. Board of Directors
Performs other duties as assigned.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Knowledge of postal regulations set by the USPS. Willingness to work with persons with disabilities in a structured community setting
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Physical Requirements:
Required to be able to stand, walk and sit for varying period of time
Required to be able to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs as needed
Must have adequate vision abilities to see at close range, at a distance, peripherally, with depth perception and adjust focus within acceptable standards.
