Position Overview:

Baptist Health is seeking a dedicated Pharmacist for our Central Fulfillment team, operating within the Central Pharmacy.

This role encompasses a variety of responsibilities related to the distribution of medications and the fulfillment of prescriptions, including:

  • Receiving and screening incoming medications
  • Reviewing and verifying prescriptions
  • Scanning and distributing medications
  • Packing and auditing outgoing shipments
  • Ensuring compliance with quality checks

The Pharmacist will also be responsible for:

  • Accurate data entry into automated distribution systems
  • Utilizing technology to enhance workflow efficiency
  • Assessing daily operational needs and addressing any gaps

Additionally, this position involves:

  • Resolving system-related issues by collaborating with technical support
  • Supporting pharmacy operations to optimize financial performance and inventory management
  • Overseeing pharmacy technicians and assisting in their training
  • Maintaining pharmacy automation systems
  • Managing inventory processes, including receiving and restocking
  • Ensuring compliance with packaging requirements for medications

Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or a Doctorate of Pharmacy is required. Candidates must possess or be eligible for licensure with the Kentucky Board of Pharmacy and the Indiana Board of Pharmacy.
