Position Overview: We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Equipment Inventory and Logistics Manager to oversee the management, maintenance, and calibration of our equipment inventory, as well as the planning and execution of daily routes for our engineering and inspection teams. This role is crucial to ensuring the efficiency of our operations and the accuracy of our inventory data.

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Management:

  • Procure, calibrate, and maintain all equipment.
  • Manage complex spreadsheets for scheduling maintenance and calibration.
  • Maintain a master equipment list, including location, status, and usage.
  • Ensure all equipment is tracked accurately in terms of cost, location, and condition.

Logistics Coordination:

  • Analyze daily assignments to determine equipment needs for each task.
  • Arrange for the pick-up and delivery of equipment from the warehouse to various sites.
  • Ensure the timely return of equipment and samples to the lab.
  • Oversee the scheduling and routing of drivers to maximize efficiency and minimize overtime.

Data Management:

  • Utilize Excel and Google Sheets for data input, reporting, file management, and inventory management.
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency in all records.
  • Generate and share regular excel-based inventory and logistics reports with management.

Collaboration and Compliance:

  • Work closely with field staff, HR, project managers, and accounting departments.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and warehouse legislation regarding health, safety, hygiene, and security.
  • Maintain standards and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Conduct physical counts and reconcile inventory with data storage systems.
  • Track and maintain company vehicle records.
  • Drive to construction sites for material pick-ups and drop-offs as needed.
  • Manage the purchase and ordering of parts, equipment, and materials required for projects.

Requirements:

  • Associate’s Degree or higher.
  • Excellent Excel skills including formulas, data configuration, conditional formatting, data entry, duplicating/revising files, and saving/sending/sharing files.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Willingness to obtain necessary job certifications, such as OSHA.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction skilled trades (preferred).
  • Previous experience in warehouse management (preferred).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Fluent in Spanish (preferred).
  • Valid driver’s license.

Schedule:

  • Monday - Thursday: 9:00 am - 5:30 pm
  • Friday: 8:00 am - 12:00 pm
  • Sunday: 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm
