Position Summary: We are in search of a detail-oriented Equipment Logistics and Inventory Supervisor to manage the oversight, upkeep, and calibration of our equipment inventory. This role is vital for the seamless operation of our engineering and inspection teams, ensuring that all logistical needs are met efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Oversight:
- Acquire, calibrate, and maintain all necessary equipment.
- Manage intricate spreadsheets for scheduling maintenance and calibration tasks.
- Maintain a comprehensive equipment database, detailing location, status, and usage.
- Ensure precise tracking of equipment in terms of cost, location, and condition.
Logistical Management:
- Evaluate daily assignments to ascertain equipment requirements for each task.
- Coordinate the pick-up and delivery of equipment from the warehouse to various job sites.
- Ensure timely return of equipment and samples to the laboratory.
- Oversee the scheduling and routing of drivers to enhance efficiency and reduce overtime.
Data Administration:
- Utilize Excel and Google Sheets for data entry, reporting, and inventory management.
- Ensure accuracy and consistency in all records.
- Generate and distribute regular inventory and logistics reports to management.
Collaboration and Compliance:
- Work closely with field personnel, HR, project managers, and accounting teams.
- Ensure adherence to federal, state, and warehouse regulations regarding health, safety, and security.
- Maintain standards and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures.
Additional Duties:
- Conduct physical inventory counts and reconcile with data management systems.
- Track and maintain records for company vehicles.
- Travel to job sites for material pick-ups and deliveries as necessary.
- Manage the procurement and ordering of parts, equipment, and materials for projects.
Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree or higher.
- Proficient in Excel, including formulas, data configuration, and file management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Self-driven with the capability to work independently.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to obtain necessary job certifications.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction or related fields (preferred).
- Previous experience in inventory or warehouse management (preferred).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
- Valid driver's license required.
Work Schedule:
- Monday - Thursday: 9:00 am - 5:30 pm
- Friday: 8:00 am - 12:00 pm
- Sunday: 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm
