We are seeking a committed Supply Chain Inventory and Logistics Coordinator to become a vital part of our supply chain team at More Staffing LLC.

The ideal candidate will focus on enhancing inventory management, formulating demand predictions, and orchestrating effective logistics operations to guarantee a smooth and economical supply chain.


Key Responsibilities:
I.

INVENTORY MANAGEMENT
- Evaluate sales statistics, market trends, and customer needs to develop inventory projections.
- Create a dynamic spreadsheet for real-time forecasting.
- Generate import packing lists for fulfillment centers upon receipt of new shipments.
- Collaborate with suppliers to secure timely delivery of materials or components to align with production timelines.
- Formulate strategies for maintaining optimal inventory levels, including forecasting potential shortages.
- Establish guidelines for inventory management, addressing issues such as damaged or expired products.
- Review orders and shipping timelines to ensure compliance with legal standards for safe merchandise transport.
- Maintain communication with suppliers regarding order status updates.
- Suggest enhancements to inventory management systems based on historical performance.

II.

DEMAND PLANNING
- Develop monthly sales and inventory forecasts utilizing vendor management tools and demand analysis.

III.

ANALYTICS
- Assess business performance and identify performance gaps by setting key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Collaborate with departments such as Marketing and Sales to gather insights on data trends.
- Communicate requirements and share information with team members.
- Organize, verify, and disseminate product information across departments.
- Analyze inventory data to project potential utilization and identify opportunities for process enhancement and cost reduction in logistics and inventory management.

IV.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES
- Oversee warehouse inventory and maintain accurate records.
- Monitor and manage budgetary constraints.
- Select transportation carriers and negotiate rates and contracts.
- Address and resolve complaints and issues as they arise.
- Stay informed about shipping carriers, routes, rates, and any updates.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in demand planning or forecasting within the supply chain sector.
- Comprehensive understanding of inventory management principles and practices.
- Strong project management capabilities.
- Proficiency in project management tools.
- Solid mathematical and statistical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
