Responsibilities:

  • Act as the subject matter expert in accounts payable
  • Perform the accounts payable process weekly - print checks, etc.
  • Carry out monthly/bi-weekly journal entries, postings, and bank drafts
  • Uphold account reconciliations - such as reconciling subsidiary bank accounts
  • Aid the controller in year-end closing, audit preparation, and financial statement preparation
  • Implement the yearly 1099 process
  • Help camps department with their journal entries and financials as needed

Requirements:

  • Associate degree in the relevant area, e.g., accounting, finance, or a related field from an accredited college
  • Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience is required. 4 years or more years is strongly preferred
