Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough analysis and auditing of job content and associated costs by verifying data accuracy.
  • Prepare and process invoices with precision and timeliness utilizing verified information.
  • Oversee daily unbilled jobs to guarantee efficient processing.
  • Examine preparation sheets and historical job tickets for comparative analysis and additional insights.
  • Input invoice details into accounting software to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Maintain comprehensive records related to billing, including invoices and supporting documentation.
  • Engage with relevant parties to clarify billing inquiries, obtain or relay account information, and address any questions from customers or account managers.
  • Assist in sustaining an accurate record of company receivables.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • An Associate's degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline.
  • 1 - 2+ years of experience in a billing specialist capacity is preferred.
  • Proficiency in 10-key, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Outlook is essential.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to various accounting software applications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with individuals at all organizational levels, including vendors and clients.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational capabilities.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Competence in analyzing information and managing processes.
  • Demonstrates professionalism and a problem-solving mindset.
  • Experience in the manufacturing sector is advantageous but not mandatory.
