Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the daily functions of the accounting division.
  • Conduct month-end reconciliations.
  • Prepare and evaluate financial statements, ensuring they meet accuracy and compliance standards.
  • Assist in budget preparation and guarantee the accuracy and punctuality of financial reporting.
  • Ensure adherence to tax regulations and reporting obligations.
  • Prepare and submit various governmental documents, including property tax returns and annual reports.
  • Oversee cash flow management.
  • Maintain schedules for depreciation.
  • Ensure the precision of Work in Process and Completed Contract schedules.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or business administration.
  • A minimum of five years of progressive experience in accounting.
  • Comprehensive understanding of general ledger accounting and double-entry bookkeeping.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
  • Capacity to work autonomously and meet deadlines.
  • Experience with job costing and related schedules.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead team members effectively.
  • Experience with consolidations and multi-entity accounting is preferred.
  • CPA, CMA, or MBA credentials are advantageous.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (Aspire and QuickBooks preferred) and advanced Excel skills.
