Your Role
Regional Operations Managers play a critical role in the success of our business by managing the asset base of a group of branches: including personnel, inventory, accounts receivable and physical assets. Collaborate with Regional Sales Manager to develop the business plan and EBITDA goals for all branches within their regional geography. With the Regional Sales Manager, they are responsible for region's performance and goal achievement. Must reside in the vicinity of a major airport in Northeast United States.
Minimum Job Qualifications
-Bachelor's degree in distribution with focus on multi-site responsibility and/or five years' experience in distribution and management.
Duties and Responsibilities
-Manages the admin, delivery and warehouse responsibilities for branches in assigned region, Including expenses, staffing, and compliance to branch SOP manual.
-Manages the KPI’s to achieve company targets. Responsible for inventory accuracy through collaboration with regional buyers and inventory management team. Specific focus on customer service and service levels.
-Responsible for managing branch leases including renewals, and/or any required branch expansion/contraction supported by market conditions.
-Works in co-operation with Supply Chain Management and regional purchasing to assure timely, accurate and complete distribution of the products handled by the area branches.
-Responsible for maintaining acceptable accounts receivable exposure through the corporate credit team. Supports the company policy regarding extension of credit and takes the proper action to protect and collect the money that is owed to the company.
-Responsible for physical assets of the region’s branches such as offices, warehouse, handling, service, maintenance and appearance of the branch.
-Supports and actively engages in all aspects of company safety and training programs.
-Responsible for the performance of Branch Ops Managers in each branch, this includes coaching, leadership, defined expectations and performance reviews that maintain and/or improve staff performance.
