Professional law firm has a unique opportunity for an entry level to novice HR professional who will be immediately immersed in the department's work.  As a corporate human resource department, there are frequent opportunities to gain experience in a variety of HR functions. After an initial training period, there will be the possibility of up to 4 days per month remote work. This position directly supports the HR Director and HR Manager and will participate in recruiting, staff retention, hiring strategy, staff wellbeing, corporate communication, staff training and compliance. We welcome the resume of those seeking to tackle a range of HR-heavy tasks with diligence. This will be a busy desk.


• Responsible for policy and procedure
• Plan for and recruit (post openings, application review, interviewing, verify eligibility, collaborating with hiring managers, onboarding)
• Maintain applicant database and personnel files in a way compliant with state and federal laws and Firm best practices
• Consider and plan for maintaining a high standard of employee experience
• Responsible for employee off boarding, which can include drafting severance letters, offboarding in compliance with the Firm and IT
• Professional communicator
• Maintain confidentiality according to HIPAA and policy
• Attend trainings for non-HR staff

Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field is preferred, but we will also consider experience.
