Duties:

  • Team Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to the Production Team, ensuring adherence to company policies, procedures, and standards of excellence.
  • Coordinate with various team members to ensure timely completion of projects, including receiving and processing orders, and managing inventory levels.
  • Conduct regular quality checks to ensure that all products meet or exceed customer expectations, troubleshoot any issues that arise, and implement corrective actions as needed
  • Master all copying & printing processes, train new hires on production processes and procedures, as well as provide ongoing coaching and support to existing team members to foster a culture of continuous improvement
  • Monitor inventory levels of materials and supplies, place orders as needed, and maintain accurate records of stock levels to prevent production delays
  • Assist in identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs without sacrificing quality, while also tracking production expenses and staying within budgetary constraints
  • Customer Service: Work closely with the customer to address inquiries or concerns, provide updates on order statuses, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction

Additional Requirements:

  • As the Production Lead, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our print production facility.

Qualifications:

  • Must have 5+ years of experience in Print Production Team Leadership.
  • Previous experience in a production environment, preferably in the printing or digital reproduction industry, with demonstrated leadership abilities.
  • Excellent organizational, time management and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of the print production process and workflow.
  • Strong attention to detail and operational workflow dynamics to effectively track and analyze the status within the production print process.
  • Able to multi-task and utilize resources to execute tasks within a deadline-oriented environment.
  • Commitment to continuous process improvement initiatives and ability to solve problems creatively.
  • Highly motivated and high level of initiative; inspires confidence to work independently and as a team.
  • Able to build relationships and work across a multi-product line organization.
  • Collaborate with and manage a team of Print Production Associates, ensuring smooth workflow, scheduling and proofing for all print projects.
  • Able to act as a team lead, physically fit and able to perform tasks that require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods, inspecting, packing and shipping finished products.
  • Strong analytics and computer skills (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat) Must have Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe InDesign experience.
  • Eager to learn and grow within the printing industry.
  • Possess a self-driven positive attitude and must be dependable and reliable.
