The position encompasses traditional managerial accounting functions including oversight of monthly close, preparing journal entries, and performing account reconciliations and analysis. Converge Technology Solutions US, LLC continues to expand, including globally, and the ideal candidate will thrive in a busy and continuously changing environment. Essential functions and responsibilities: Managing a team of 4-7+ Staff Accountants within the parent company and/or non-integrated subsidiaries, which will include oversight and additional coverage of: Invoicing and revenue recognition of our product resale business in accordance with IFRS. Processing of AP relating to our product resale POs. Fixed asset and pre-paid expenses tracking, which includes booking of asset to fixed asset module and monthly depreciation entries. Sales tax preparation and filing for multiple states. Participate in month-end close. Account reconciliations. Prepare journal entries and accruals. Assist with audits and special projects. Provide first line of support with fielding questions from Staff Accountant team, including assisting with questions from external departments—namely Sales and Operations as the teams you will work most closely with. Assist Director of Accounting, US – Product Sales with special projects, including last minute priorities that arise. Collaborate with external departments, specifically Sales and Operations, in ensuring our teams are working together efficiently to support common goals. Assist Director of Accounting, US – Product Sales with improving processes/formulating new accounting processes, as well as documentation of those processes. Field month-end inquiries from Controllers, including investigation into invoices to confirm margins are appropriate. Each Accounting Team Lead will be assigned a specific area, which may include but is not limited to concentrated oversight of: Accounts Payable – vendor invoicing, Accounts Receivable – customer invoicing, month-end schedules/reconciliations, month-end accruals, and more. Additionally, all Team Leads assist with audit sample reviews, integrating companies selected for merging into the parent company, and more. Job Qualifications Degree in Accounting or Finance. 3-5 years of experience. Prior management experience preferred, including experience presenting, training new staff, and leading meetings involving multiple constituents. Exceptional leadership skills and proficient in motivating individuals and a team. Excellent communication and team collaboration skills, both written and verbal. Experience in a public company and IFRS is a plus. Solid understanding of general accounting principles. Aptitude to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and apply critical thinking skills. Discretion in dealing with sensitive and highly confidential information. Prior experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV, Business Central, PowerBI, and Jet Reports is a plus.
