About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Product Trainer to join our team at INNIO LLC. As a Lead Product Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering technical product training and consulting services to customers, distributors, and internal staff to enable them to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot Jenbacher products in an efficient and effective way.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver Technical Training: Develop and deliver comprehensive technical training programs for international customers, distributors, and internal staff, covering basic, mid, and high-level topics, including commissioning and minor overhaul training.
  • Drive Training Improvements: Collaborate with the Global Product Training Center team to drive improvements in training content, ensuring it remains up-to-date and relevant to customer needs.
  • Create Training Materials: Develop and update training materials, documentation, and eTraining modules in cooperation with the instructional design team, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and effectiveness.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Experience: Foster a positive, constructive learning environment, applying contemporary adult learning principles to ensure participants achieve their learning objectives.
  • Support Field Service: Occasionally support field service work to stay up-to-date with current Jenbacher product technology, including commissioning and maintenance tasks.
  • Comply with Quality Standards: Adhere to all relevant guidelines defined within the INNIO Quality Management System (ISO 9001), Environmental Management System (ISO 14001), and Energy Management System (ISO 50001).
Qualification Requirements
  • Education: Degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or local equivalent (Secondary Vocational College or completed apprenticeship).
  • Experience: Ideally extensive years of experience with Jenbacher products; alternatively, a minimum of four years in a technical product trainer role in a similar business.
  • Language Skills: Excellent language skills in English, both verbal and written, with Spanish being a plus.
Job Specific Knowledge
  • Adult Learning Techniques: Skills and experience in adult learning techniques and methodologies are a plus.
  • Live Online Training: Experience with live online training infrastructure and training concepts is a plus.
  • International Travel: International travel for up to 30% of the time.
