A manufacturing company has an opportunity available for a Supply Chain Clerk to work first shift from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Job Duties:

  • Keep track of logistics and update the company’s inventory
  • Analyze operational performance and resolve issues
  • Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to ensure all operations meet quality and safety standards
  • Assist with creating effective business plans, so teamwork skills are important
  • Evaluate and report on KPI's, and monitor logistics to make sure they run smoothly 
  • Maintain supply chain inventory and records, find cost-effective solutions for supply chain processes, and resolve issues that come up
  • Collaborate with other departments to create coordinated plans for business growth
  • Ensure supply chain processes meet legal requirements and standards
  • Communicate and negotiate with suppliers and vendors to land more profitable deals
  • Perform other office duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Must have previous experience as a Supply Chain Clerk or in a similar field
  • Must be able to negotiate with suppliers and vendors to land more profitable deals
  • Must have great leadership and communication abilities
  • Must be computer literate
  • Must be able to analyze and resolve issues while meeting quality, legal, and safety standards
  • Must have the ability to create effective business plans
  • Must have an articulate, professional, and upbeat phone voice
  • Must have excellent organizational and communication skills while working in a team environment
