Procurement Engineering Specialist

Become a vital part of our organization as a Procurement Engineering Specialist, where you will be tasked with delivering expert support for cost assessments, supplier relations, and the establishment of material records. In this capacity, you will collaborate closely with project teams to facilitate effective project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver expert assistance for project cost assessments through both external and internal suppliers, addressing engineering-related inquiries
  • Help identify and onboard new suppliers for diverse materials and services
  • Work in conjunction with Supply Chain Management to ensure the timely delivery of components
  • Address logistics and transportation issues concerning incoming materials
  • Partner with project management to revise project timelines
  • Support the creation of Material Records in SAP

Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, etc.)
  • 3-5 years of experience in an engineering or procurement capacity
  • Skilled in interpreting technical drawings
  • Experience in the chemical sector is advantageous
  • Familiarity with SAP procurement systems
  • Proficient in English, with additional languages being beneficial
  • Background in machining and manufacturing of process equipment
  • Knowledge of logistics and export compliance
  • Competence in CAD and project scheduling software
  • Experience with the manufacturing of pressure vessels is a plus
