Job SummaryThe Commercial Operations Specialist plays a pivotal role in ensuring data integrity across our global business operations. This role focuses on implementing data best practices, establishing a data governance framework, driving data quality control, and developing data management policies.
Key Responsibilities- Data Management: Create, manage, and maintain enterprise data records in SAP, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and consistency. Data elements may include materials, customers, vendors, and others.
- Data Governance: Establish a data governance framework, drive data quality control, and develop data management policies to ensure data integrity.
- Process Optimization: Identify and implement best practices for customer, vendor, and material master data governance, and lead efforts to enhance data processes and improve data integrity.
- Support and Escalation: Support the global business in maintaining high data standards, identify and implement best practices, and escalate any constraints, challenges, and critical delays.
- Training and Documentation: Provide training and support to end-users on enterprise data processes and best practices, and provide audit support and documentation as requested by internal/external auditors.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Experience: 5+ years' Business Analyst and SAP experience.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, experience with data set up practices and data management, and demonstrated understanding of material master data, vendor master/customer master, and subcontracting concepts and principles.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, ability to identify errors or inconsistencies, and strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Certifications: Certifications or advanced degree in relevant IT or business field.
- Business Process Acumen: Demonstrated business process acumen and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Communication Skills: Superior written and oral communication skills and ability to translate business requirements into technology solutions.
Response time and accuracy.
Key Relationships:- Maintains key relationships with Global Business Process Owners and their regional counterparts.
- Highly visible role that engages with functional leadership across the business, especially Operations, R&D, Commercial Team, and Supply Chain.
- Less than 10% of travel both domestic and abroad.
- The structure of work hours may require some irregular working hours to accommodate for Global support.
