Kaleen Rugs, Inc., a Dalton based Rug and Broadloom Manufacturer/Distributor is seeking to hire an experienced Rug Fabrication Manager for our Dalton Georgia location. This role will be responsible for ensuring production is actively engaged to meet daily demands.

Job Overview: As a Rug Fabrication Manager, you will be responsible for managing the production and manufacturing processes related to rug fabrication. This role requires a combination of leadership skills, and a keen eye for quality control.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Production Oversight:
  • Supervise and coordinate all aspects of rug fabrication.
  • Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demand and company targets.
  • Ensure that production processes adhere to quality standards and safety regulations.
  • Team Leadership:
  • Manage and motivate a team of rug fabricators and production staff to achieve production goals.
  • Provide guidance and training to team members, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and implement improvement plans as needed.
  • Quality Control:
  • Implement and enforce quality control measures throughout the rug fabrication process.
  • Collaborate with the quality assurance team to identify and address any product defects or deviations from specifications.
  • Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement to enhance overall product quality.

 

  • Process Improvement:
  • Identify areas for process optimization and efficiency gains within the rug fabrication process.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement improvements and innovations.
  • Communication:
  • Report regularly to senior management on production progress, challenges, and opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in rug fabrication or a related manufacturing field preferred.
  • Ability to cut rugs as needed.
  • Strong leadership and managerial skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of production processes, quality control, and safety standards.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality products.
  • Familiarity with industry trends and a proactive approach to staying informed about new technologies.
  • AS400 and CAMS experience is a plus.
  • Basic Microsoft office skills required.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or High School Diploma with 3 years’ Management experience preferred.
  • Rug fabrication experience is required.
