Position Overview:

We are seeking a meticulous and highly skilled CAD Designer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in converting conceptual designs into precise fabrication drawings. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in both 2D and 3D drafting and modeling, utilizing AutoDesk software, with a strong emphasis on precision and detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce accurate and detailed drawings using AutoCAD and Inventor.
  • Collaborate with engineers and designers to create comprehensive fabrication drawings and drawing packages.
  • Ensure compliance of all drawings and models with industry standards and company protocols.
  • Assist in coordinating efforts with other team members.
  • Review and modify drawings based on feedback from project managers and clients.
  • Stay informed about the latest software updates and industry best practices.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Proficient in AutoCAD and Inventor software, with the ability to work seamlessly in both 2D and 3D environments.
  • Experience with Fusion 360, ProNest, and/or Bysoft is advantageous.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Prior experience in a mechanical design role is required.
  • High mechanical aptitude is preferred.
  • Strong capability to create and interpret technical drawings.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in drafting.
  • Able to work effectively in a collaborative team setting.
  • Self-driven, adaptable to ambiguity, and motivated to contribute as part of a team.
  • Excellent organizational skills, combined with strong written and verbal communication abilities.
