QEP is a leading designer, manufacturer and distributor of a broad range of best-in-class flooring and installation solutions and tools for commercial and home improvement projects worldwide.

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for organization-wide, full life cycle of recruitment activities including sourcing, screening resumes, interviewing candidates, negotiating salaries, extending job offers, etc. It also includes working with leadership and HR to develop strategic and tactical recruiting plans to effectively support the talent acquisition process, as well as tracking and managing open requisitions.

What You Will Be Doing:

Facilitate the full recruitment life cycle Work collaboratively with hiring managers to understand business objectives and candidate requirements for open positions Source candidates using various sourcing methods to fill open positions in a timely manner Screen candidates by conducting interviews by using phone, in-person and web-based interview methods in order to effectively and efficiently qualify each candidate Identify and recommend candidates for final interviews Guide and coach hiring managers through the recruitment and interview process Manage the pre-employment process steps for job candidates Utilize the applicant tracking system and spreadsheets to document all recruitment activity Complete and process all recruitment paperwork to seek approval to hire job candidates Extend offers of employment to candidates who have been approved and complete the hire process providing correct new hire paperwork Provide superior customer service to candidates and internal & external customers throughout the recruitment process; ensure all verbal and written communications are accurate, clear, concise and professional Work closely with leadership and HR to understand recruitment needs and dynamics in their assigned areas Complete background, drug screen and reference checks for selected candidates Provide monthly reporting and analytics Proactively recommend recruitment best practices Conduct regularly scheduled new hire orientations

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or equivalent 3 – 5 years of Recruiting experience or a combination of education and experience Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with cross functional partners across the business Have a strong focus on analysis, personal activity level, efficiency and quality of hiring Deadline and results-driven Agile Recruiting experience Experience utilizing social networks and databases to source and cold-call candidates Knowledge of business and customer service principles including planning and organizing, resource management and leadership skills Ability to handle sensitive, moderately complex, and confidential information Ability to read and listen, understand and communicate information and ideas in a clear and understandable manner, both orally and in writing
