At Air Products, we are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Project Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for the ownership of product fabrication to product spec required in Hydrogen refueling stations.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver products to specification, on time, and at cost.
- Ensure synergies with the Air Products hydrogen business.
- Address supply chain and fabrication of the product.
- Achieve greater global mobility market share.
This role requires effective relationships and influence within Air Products organization to achieve results. You will need to communicate at all levels and demonstrate ethical practice. Additionally, you will drive innovation and be comfortable with 'white space' projects.
Principal Accountabilities- Uphold Air Products safety philosophy for both the workplace and projects.
- Work with HRS product line, regional execution team, quality assurance, supply chain, business area, and various Air Products stakeholders to deliver product on schedule and on budget.
- Ensure all changes are handled in accordance with the standard operating procedure and own the whole lessons learned process.
- Plan and lead the product fabrication process to ensure completion.
- Evaluate and seek required approval for changes that substantially impact the scope, budget, or schedule of a product.
- Prepare monthly/quarterly spend analysis and provide current financial information and trend log regarding potential impacts to product budget or forecast.
- Ensure sustainability impact of product build and contribute towards Air Products sustainability goals.
- BS or MS, preferably in mechanical engineering.
- 4-year experience in manufacturing project management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Effective team building and teamwork skills, across a variety of personnel.
- Knowledge/experience in hydrogen refueling product line a plus.
- Self-motivated and ability to drive success.
- Able to learn quickly and contribute to multiple portfolios of technology marketing.
