Position Summary:

Provides administrative support across multiple human resources functional areas. Works closely with other members of the Human Resources department to provide high quality recruitment efforts across multiple business units. Responsible for ensuring timely processing of payroll. Assists in the documentation of existing and new procedures. Maintains the highest level of integrity and confidentiality.

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide administrative HR support and customer service to multi-state employees
  • Assist the recruiting function, including job posting, screening candidates, scheduling interviews and completing pre-employment paperwork
  • Process multi-state and Canadian payroll using ADP Workforce Now
  • Support and administer employee recognition programs and engagement activities
  • Process HR related invoices as necessary
  • Coordinates the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing offer letters and processing new hire paperwork while assisting in the offboarding process, including system deactivation
  • Prepare employee termination packets
  • Maintains paperless HR office including online employee personnel files
  • Assist in administration of leave of absence management, including Paid Family Leave, Family Medical Leave, Disability, and Worker’s Compensation
  • Other duties as assigned by management

What You’ll Bring:

  • Associates degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
  • Minimum of three (3) years of previous HR/payroll/recruitment experience required; Or, combination of education and experience
  • Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing setting is a plus

  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
  • Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping

  • Understanding of federal and multi-state regulations relating to payroll, employment labor laws and leave law
  • Data and goal oriented
