We are seeking a part time (mornings 4-5 hours/day, set schedule M-F), self-motivated, detail oriented, goal achieving individual to work in our production/computer hardware department. Synel Americas offers competitive pay and upon meeting set criteria after 6 months and 12 months of employment, opportunity for increased wage. Synel-Americas is conveniently located in North Scottsdale off the 101 and Pima/Princess exit.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

  • Inspection and testing of hardware devices & related attachments
  • Filling orders
  • Repair of hardware devices
  • Shipping and receiving (boxes up to 50 POUNDS)
  • Inventory counts
  • Cleaning of work area
  • General help throughout the office moving equipment, cubes, supplies, etc.

 

An average day in the department would involve receiving new hardware devices, putting each new device through a multi-point check process (bench testing), then shipping out product orders to customers. Other tasks that happen are monthly inventory counts, misc. requests from office staff to move workstations, unload supplies, etc. After mastery of standard product bench testing, this individual will learn how to troubleshoot and fix a variety of time keeping devices that our customers send in for repair. Since Synel Americas has been in business for many years, the variety of hardware and software used in the past is varied.

  • Previous bench testing experience or exposure to bench testing
  • Previous computer or electronic hardware repair/troubleshooting experience

  • Someone who is detail oriented
  • Someone with a technical aptitude
  • Basic knowledge of how to use computers and average typing speed
  • Ability to lift boxes up to 50 POUNDS

 

Part Time Hours: mornings, Monday-Friday

 

Salary: $15/hour to start and then upon mastery of set criteria at 6 months/12 months, employee is eligible for wage increases
