Job Summary

CompuCom Systems, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Desktop Technical Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our IT support team, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our clients across the United States.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for desktop applications and hardware issues
  • Manage ticket queues and prioritize incident reports to ensure timely resolution
  • Investigate and diagnose technical issues to identify root causes and implement solutions
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and training materials
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of technical services
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in IT, computer science, or related field
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office application suite, including MS Outlook
  • Experience with multi-platform Windows O/S and Apple OS
  • Preferred: Certification in relevant IT products/technologies, such as CompTIA or Microsoft Certified IT Professional
  • Experience with ITSM ticketing tools, such as Service Now or Remedy
  • Basic knowledge of ITIL, Service Desk metrics/SLA's, and mobile device support
