Location: Stockton, CA
Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8:00AM - 5:00pm
Job Description:The HR Compliance Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that the organization adheres to all employment laws and regulations. This role involves monitoring compliance with HR policies, conducting audits, and providing training and support to HR staff and management. The HR Compliance Coordinator will work closely with various departments to develop and implement compliance strategies that align with the company's goals and values.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Upload weekly certified payroll reports onto various compliance websites including Department of Industrial Relations, LCP Tracker, and iSupplier
  • Assist with labor compliance start-up documents on new projects
  • Assist in updating T&M Wage Rate Spreadsheets and Fringe Benefits Statements when each Union Local increases
  • Data entry for Union Reporting on a monthly basis
  • Data entry for Target Marketing projects
  • Follow up with Subcontractors on their labor compliance start-up documents
  • Create various spreadsheets in Microsoft Excel for tracking Subs & Suppliers
  • Data entry into Jonas Accounting System
  • Backup for Payroll processing as needed
  • Know and help implement all aspects of company handbook and field all questions from staff
  • Know all current labor code requirements
  • Employee on boarding, performance management, able to write and distribute policies and procedures.
  • Ensure that all employees complete all required training, know and understand their role, company rules, and any security procedures
  • Make certain all employee files are organized and in compliance with State/Federal and company policy requirements.
  • Be knowledgeable of our Employee Benefits Program
  • Administration of third-party sites for all HR activity, including but not limited to HR, medical and dental
Qualifications:
  • Human Resources Experience
  • Min 3 Years Payroll Experience
  • Experience with Unions
  • Certified Payroll
  • Financial System Experience
  • Accounting /Administrative functions
  • Strong in Microsoft Office
  • Outstanding organizational Skills
  • Ability to work pleasantly and professionally under high pressure situations in a fast pace environment
  • Punctuality, team player attitude, enthusiasm

Physical requirements:
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
  • Ability to type, use phone, copiers, etc. with hands.
