SUMMARY

The role of Vice President, Strategic Solutions requires a tenured and experienced individual versed in providing various types of services within the staffing industry. These services include staff augmentation, MSP solutions (including utilization of a VMS), RPO, payroll services (both employer-of-record for W-2 and agent-of-record for ICs/1099), IC compliance, direct sourcing, and all other related services and solutions.  This role will assist Acro Service Corp. executives in architecting talent solutions for business development opportunities.  These include formal RFP processes from prospective clients; direct sales efforts from Acro’s sales, account, branch and program teams; and any other opportunities that arise for the creation and delivery of strategic solutions.  This individual must be well-versed in business and corporate communications to execute the voice of the company across all service lines.

The Vice President, Strategic Solutions will manage a team that will deliver compelling strategic solutions through formal and informal responses to Arco's current and prospective clients.  Working with and managing Arco's proposal team, the Vice President will ensure that high attention to detail and word-efficient composition is incorporated in all company formal and informal proposals for new business and other forms of writing to promote and/or communicate the company’s services, products, and positions. The Vice President, along with their team, will stay abreast of industry trends and incorporate, as appropriate, both industry-specific and company-specific information into written and verbal communications in a clear, concise, and compelling manner. Through this work, the Vice President will work both independently and collaboratively with the company’s senior leadership, the proposal team, business unit leaders, clients, and employees, fostering effective relations with all stakeholders. The Vice President will embody best practices for architecting contingent labor and outsourcing solutions through impeccable project management skills to ensure that every solution presented speaks to the strengths, solutions, and services that Acro provides.    

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

The Vice President, Strategic Solutions shall perform the following duties and responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the company’s creation of strategic solutions and related proposals that are to be provided to Acro prospective and existing clients.
  • Will manage a team of proposal writers and oversee strategy, content preparation, draft reviews and ultimately be responsible for all final formal and informal proposals.
  • Collaborate with Acro’s senior leaders and business development leaders to develop the company’s solution to meet the client’s requirements and strategically positioning messaging for proposals, presentations and other promotional documents.
  • Manage the identification and modification of content residing in Acro’s proposals repository.
  • Architect the solutions and services available within Acro’s company toolkit to develop business proposals that meet and exceed all client requirements.
  • Work with business unit leaders and subject matter experts across the company to compile needed information for proposals and other promotional documents.
  • Proactively conduct topical research online to enhance the proposal or promotional material or to fill any gaps in available information
  • Work with Acro’s sales and marketing teams and other senior company leadership to develop other business development collateral as needed, e.g., white papers, case studies, PowerPoint presentations and others, as well as, marketing materials, technical reports, and/or critical business correspondence
  • Assist with the establishment of the vision, goals, and measures of success for Acro’s proposal team, recognizing the current maturity and skill level of each team member
  • Participate in the analysis, evaluation and development of long-term strategic and operating plans to ensure that the teams’ objectives are consistent with Acro’s long-term business objectives
  • Coach/mentor and provide management and leadership to both onshore and offshore team members
  • Design, develop, and recommend talent solutions which result in win/win scenarios for both Acro and its clients
  • Provide necessary assistance/guidance regarding pre-sales support and expertise in analyzing client requirements, in conjunction with the client’s current business challenges
  • Measure the value of the efforts of the proposal team and present those measures to stakeholders within the business to ensure continuous improvement
  • Manage all RFx opportunities in accordance with Acro’s process for proposal completion and submit recommendations to management to continually improve such process
  • Manage timelines for involved activities, internal review dates, and submission deadlines
  • Perform other duties as assigned

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or other related field is required.  Master’s degree preferred.

Experience

  • Minimum of 15 years’ experience in the staffing industry, preferably with experience providing various types of staffing-related services, including contingent staff augmentation, MSP, vendor-on-premise solutions, direct sourcing, RPO, MSP, VMS, EOR, and AOR.
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in writing proposals and other communications designed to promote the sale of staffing-related services.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a solution architect or in a leadership role within the staffing industry.
