Title: Inside Sales Representative

Hours: 8:30am - 5:00pm

Summary:

The position performs the role of Inside Sales for the specified territory accounts, using the computer system to inquire, quote and place orders. Additionally, but not limited to, addition of new sales, process improvement, inventory management/processing, kaizen activities, teamwork to improve service, and reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Primarily handle all aspects of inside sales with emphasis on growing both the sales and contact base. Receive and process requests for quotes for assigned accounts. Receive and process orders for assigned accounts. Process parts for delivery. Follow up with phone, fax, and email inquiries related to customer accounts.
• Perform daily inquiries to Japan and domestic suppliers, quotations to customers, ordering of product and following up of customer issues. Ensure that all of your customers of responsibilities needs are being fully met.
• Regularly evaluate and recommend changes to the branch manager on customer issues, such as but not limited to, customer news, supplier issues, projects and problems in your areas of responsibility.
• Responsible for local area stock agreement inventory and regular local stock. Assist the branch manager on the prevention of troubles in both daily sales activities and operation of the areas of responsibility.
• Detect and report improper operations, faulty equipment, defective materials and unusual conditions to the branch manager. At the same time recommending solutions for the pre mentioned issues.
• Work with your Outside Salesperson to analyze and resolve problems relative to any account within your area.
• Understand the US suppliers’ portals.
• Process repair requests, when needed

Qualifications/Requirement:

• Strong Inside Sales and Customer Service skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Professionalism
• Strong knowledge of the Microsoft products, word, excel and others.
• Knowledge of Warehouse process
• Knowledge of Accounting process
• Punctual and strong work ethic
• Knowledge of portal purchasing systems or ERP
• Spanish speaker strongly preferred.
