Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced inside sales professional to maintain and grow a nationwide existing customer base. This role will involve calling on customer personnel, including R&D, operations, procurement, and supply chain, to market and sell specialty chemicals to existing and prospective accounts in the coatings, adhesives, sealant, and elastomer (CASE) industry. The successful candidate will own and set account plans, goals, and priorities for customers, both short and long-term, and manage and own the overall account relationship with customers.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute account plans to grow existing customer relationships and identify new business opportunities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customer personnel, including R&D, operations, procurement, and supply chain
  • Market and sell specialty chemicals to existing and prospective accounts in the CASE industry
  • Own and set account goals, priorities, and plans for customers, both short and long-term
  • Manage and own the overall account relationship with customers
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies and account plans


Requirements:
  • Two or more years of industrial sales experience is required
  • Specialty chemical distribution sales experience is highly preferred
  • A four-year bachelor's degree is preferred (chemical engineering or chemistry degrees are highly preferred)
  • Strong interpersonal skills along with excellent written and verbal communication skills are required
