Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Inside Sales Representative to maintain and grow a nationwide existing customer base. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial sales, with a focus on specialty chemicals. The role will involve calling on customer personnel, including R&D, operations, procurement, and supply chain, to market and sell specialty chemicals to existing and prospective accounts in the coatings, adhesives, sealant, and elastomer (CASE) industry.
Responsibilities:
* Owns and sets account plans, goals, and priorities for customers, both short and long-term
* Manages and owns the overall account relationship with customers and is the face of the firm to the customer
* Develops and implements sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets
* Collaborates with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and customer satisfaction
Requirements:
* Two or more years of industrial sales experience is required
* Specialty chemical distribution sales experience is highly preferred
* A four-year bachelor's degree is preferred (chemical engineering or chemistry degrees are highly preferred)
* Strong interpersonal skills along with excellent written and verbal communication skills are required
