Who We Need:

Cayosoft is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Vice President of Marketing to lead our marketing department and shape the strategic direction of our marketing initiatives. The SVP of Marketing will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies to drive growth, enhance brand visibility, and establish a strong market presence. This role includes overseeing demand generation, digital marketing, press and analyst relations, advertising, events, and partnerships. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the SVP of Marketing will be instrumental in driving revenue growth through innovative and effective marketing strategies.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership to the marketing department, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership and sales teams to align marketing strategies with business goals, driving new business growth and market expansion.
  • Develop and implement integrated marketing strategies that effectively utilize all marketing channels and activities.
  • Conduct thorough gap analyses of current marketing efforts, identifying opportunities for optimization and improved ROI.
  • Transform lead generation efforts into a scalable and efficient process, ensuring a steady flow of qualified leads through the sales funnel.
  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of compelling product and company positioning documents that resonate with target audiences.
  • Design and execute data-driven marketing plans, strategies, and campaigns informed by deep market research and competitive analysis.
  • Lead the planning and execution of high-impact marketing campaigns, setting and tracking KPIs to measure success.
  • Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to achieve strategic goals.
  • Oversee the entire lifecycle of marketing strategies, from conception to execution to post-campaign analysis.
  • Lead and mentor a growing marketing team, fostering professional development and ensuring efficient workflows.
  • Drive alignment between marketing and sales teams, ensuring cohesive efforts to maximize revenue.
  • Stay agile and adaptable to changing market conditions, managing multiple high-priority projects within tight deadlines.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is strongly preferred.
  • Proven expertise in Software Product Marketing.
  • 15+ years of progressive experience in corporate marketing, including senior leadership roles.
  • Demonstrated success in managing and developing high-performing marketing teams.
  • Extensive experience in all facets of marketing, including demand generation, digital marketing, press and analyst relations, advertising, events, and partnerships.
  • Proficiency with marketing automation tools (HubSpot preferred) and CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).
  • Exceptional strategic planning, budgeting, and financial management skills.
  • Ability to distill complex technical and business concepts into clear, compelling messaging.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and build relationships at all organizational levels.
  • Deep understanding of IT customer personas and the competitive landscape.
  • Proven track record of designing and executing strategic marketing programs that drive business growth.
  • Expertise in modern branding principles and digital-first marketing tactics.
  • Highly analytical, innovative, and solution-oriented.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.
