A well-established wholesale ingredient company is looking for a Sales Account Manager to join their growing team. This company services all sizes of business throughout the state of Michigan and Indiana with high quality food ingredients.

This is a Direct Sales Job covering the Greater Detroit Area selling Wholesale Food Ingredients to a wide variety of customers in the Food and Beverage Industry. A successful candidate will be a self-starter who thrives on developing strong working relationships with customers of all sizes. This position is expected to maintain and grow the already established relationships as well as add new ones. There is a lot of untapped opportunity in this market

This sales position will report directly to the Sales Manager and have the support of a well-rounded and experienced team to help keep you in front of customers with the answers, service, and results you and your customers are looking for. It is a remote/on the road position with the requirement to travel West Michigan for routine/occasional team meetings.

Skills Required:

  • 3+ years of proven sales experience
  • Customer and relationship driven
  • Polished Communication and networking skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • In-depth knowledge of market dynamics along with keen business sense
  • Solid judgement along with decision making skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office

Food/Beverage Ingredients background pr experience is not required but would be a plus
