This position is primarily responsible for Telecommunications Business Development - MDUs across MDU’s and residential dwellings, including the acquisition of all new building access agreements, portfolio agreements, licenses, letters of authorization, building entrance agreements and MSA’s required to increase building penetration and expand our network reach to provide solutions for customer and internally driven build projects. The Building Access Manager will help develop, manage and drive the MDU strategy into existing, and future multi-dwelling developments.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Core duties and responsibilities include the following: ·
- Acts as primary lead for the negotiation and acquisition of building access agreements.
- Coordinates delivery and integration of building access, space and power with other functional groups.
- Forecasts and manages expenditures related to access, rent, utilities and tracks impact to network expense, operating expense and capital expense budgets.
- Provides support and expertise to post execution management of various building access and infrastructure agreements to include; assembling contract deliverables, proper entry of related data into company tracking, including, but not limited to financial databases, payment and analysis of invoices, contract renewals, etc.
- Provides estimated cost and timeline to deliver various entrance agreements and access related components of projects integral to building additions or network expansion/integration projects.
- Acts as a Subject Matter Expert related to Building Access, Property Negotiation and Strategy as required by the company.
- Maintains intel on market rates, fees and trends in the MDU, subdivision and small business space
- Assists in on-time delivery of projects to scope, budget, and other constraints.
- Coordinates financial management controls (from order-to-bill) and additional assurance needs considering all stakeholders, internal and external.
- Other duties as assigned.
BUSINESS RELATED CONTACTS: Residential and commercial property owners, landlords and brokers, leasing agents, +developers, municipal, state, and federal authorities, third party agencies, as well as utility companies.
QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- 5 years experience in a related field and position, with 10 years related directly to large construction deployments preferred.
- Strong background in building access, outside plant, contract management, 3rd party agreements, and agreement negotiation required.
- Bachelor’s degree with related field of study preferred.
ACCOUNTABILITY:
- Accountable for minimizing capital and expenses for by managing external costs associated with network expansion activities, carrying network operating expense, while ensuring on-time delivery of the project schedule.
