Summary 

MotionPoint is looking for a Strategic Partnership Executive with a hunter's mindset who will be responsible for identifying, closing, and managing the relationships between MotionPoint and prospective channel partners with primary focus on Marketing Agencies.  This person will be responsible for managing the Company goals related to the Marketing Agency channel as it relates to pipeline development across MotionPoint products and services.  The primary KPI for this role will be to deliver quarterly revenue opportunities into the sales pipeline. In addition to primary development of pipeline related to website localization from marketing agencies, this person will also begin to expand relationships with agencies into broader multilingual marketing partnerships.  Additional metrics to manage for this role will be the number of agency partnerships established, engagement rate of partners and management of the ideal partner profile to improve marketing effectiveness.  

Essential Job Functions  

           Core partnership function 

  • Developing new business opportunities for the company through strategic alliances and partnerships with marketing agencies which include, but are not limited to traditional marketing agencies, digital marketing agencies, web design and development firms, and niche agencies related to content, PR, communications, and SEO. 

  • The primary purpose of partnership is to deliver value to marketing agency clients via concierge management of client website translation and localization. In addition, where relevant, to partner with marketing agencies that do not have multilingual capabilities to expand MotionPoint services to include multilingual and multicultural digital marketing – specifically content marketing and SEO. 

  • Create / Establish partnership and referral agreements with marketing agencies – based on tier of service. 

  • Leverage marketing agency relationships / partnerships to drive new logo pipeline to MotionPoint AE’s 

  • Work with MotionPoint Customer Success team to identify marketing agencies of existing MotionPoint customers to establish additional partnerships and cross-sell opportunities. 

  • Nurture relationships with all marketing agency partners to keep them informed and current on MotionPoint offers and capabilities.

    Partnership Marketing function 

  • Utilize social media channels to promote partnership capabilities to the right crowd consistently – post relevant articles on social media and create relevant videos 

  • Execute monthly webinars on assorted topics to provide thought leadership and confidence in the services that MotionPoint can provide to an agency and their client base 

  • Travel where necessary to partner events/meetings to represent the business, and or present our solutions to both partners and end user customers of partners 

  • Collaborate with MotionPoint marketing team to manage email nurture campaigns to marketing agency partners 

    Other Functions: 

  • Coordinating with legal staff to establish contracts and agreements with partners 

  • Monitoring industry trends, new regulations, and technological advances that may impact the business 

  • Provide reports and forecasts as appropriate to ensure awareness of all opportunities within partners to prioritize and respond to opportunities appropriately 

  • Other duties as assigned

  • Advanced knowledge of digital marketing – email, social media, influencer, content, and SEO

  • Positive attitude and very customer-centric; always willing to put the customers’ needs first 

  • A self-starter and quick learner, comfortable in a fast-paced environment where priorities shift constantly, embracing change and ambiguous situations and messages 

Required Education & Experience  

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience  

  • 2+ years of Agency work experience including proven connections from Director to CMO level 

  • 2+ years social media marketing experience 

  • SaaS Partnership Experience  

  • Proficient with Salesforce, Microsoft Office products, Outreach.io and Gong
