Accounts Receivable Specialist

Hanna Brophy, a premier workers' compensation defense firm, is hiring a full-time Accounts Receivable Specialist. Hanna Brophy practices law using the latest in technology in a culture of open communication and creative problem solving.

This position will start as in office with the option to move to a hybrid position after training is complete. The candidate must be able and willing to go to the office for work, training, meetings, and special assignments if asked.

Accounts/Receivable & Collections Responsibilities:

  • Print pdf invoices (Aderant Billing module)
  • Sending invoices to client (paper, email, eFax)
  • Check research
  • Follow up on PPD paper invoices
  • Researching invoice upload status on eBill websites
  • Researching PPD AR reductions on eBill websites
  • Responding to InvoicePrep/Frontline appeal inquiries
  • ACH and check payments allocation
  • Matter credit applications
  • Application cancellations/reversals

Accounts Payable Responsibilities:

  • Handling vendor invoices on eBill websites
  • Requesting to issue check refunds
  • Cancelling CRs for returned funds (bank notices)
  • Requesting check copies if not in Pulse
  • Requesting HB check clearance status
  • Filling in missing claim # in Aderant as needed
  • Affidavits for lost check payments


Experience:

  • Associate degree (Required)
  • Accounts Receivable: 2 years (Required)
  • Proficient in Excel
