The successful candidate will be strategic, assertive, self-starter, to go after direct clients and agency accounts in the McAllen, Texas market. This role is a great opportunity for an account executive who is looking to develop and grow within a rapidly scaling start-up environment.   

Reporting to the General Manager (GM) in McAllen, Texas, you will be responsible for radio / digital business development through prospecting, cold calling, networking, the use of co-op, and vendor development. 
Key Responsibilities
  • Prospect, identify potential clients, develop, and expand a new account list
  • Generate business development and qualify leads
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with new clients.
  • Ability to thrive in autonomous working environment with minimal supervision while maintaining focus and productivity, meeting deadlines, and showing relentless persistence in a competitive marketplace
  • Contact and present to clients and agencies, negotiate contracts and monitor collections
  • Decide on presentation storyline, positioning, and selling LMN integrated value proposition
  • Meet and exceed individual weekly and monthly activity and sales targets and revenue goals
  • Attend promotional events and other client networking events
  • Work in partnership with support team on pre-sale processes; prepare drafts of presentations and proposals
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales activities, pipeline, and revenue forecasts.
  • Other duties as deemed necessary


You Have TheseExperience:
  • Minimum 1-2 years of sales experience
  • Must be highly motivated, assertive, creative, and proactive
  • Strong business development and presentation skills.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
  • Self-motivated and driven to achieve and exceed targets.
  • Must have excellent client relations skills
  • Working knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel
  • Must be able to drive and have a valid TX driver’s license with a good driving record
We’d Love If You Also Have These 
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work-related experience
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
  • Proven track record of success in sales, preferably in the media, audio or advertising industry.
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable with online/social media platforms
  • Knowledge of Matrix, Nielsen Audio, Tapscan and Wide Orbit

Eligibility Requirements
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must be willing to work from office in McAllen, TX
  • Must be Bilingual (English/Spanish)
  • Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
