Responsibilities
  • Prospect and identify potential customers through a variety of methods, including cold calling, networking, and referrals.

  • Promote and demonstrate the benefits and value of our energy products and services to potential customers.
  • Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations and proposals to potential customers.

  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline management using CRM software.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as marketing and customer support, to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions.
  • Participate in trade shows, conferences, and industry events to network and generate leads.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in field sales or outside sales, preferably in the energy industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent presentation and negotiation abilities.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Proficient in using CRM software for sales tracking and management.
  • Willingness to continuously learn and stay updated with industry trends and technology.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel within the assigned territory.
  • Residence in or near Richmond, VA.
