Description:SAIC is seeking a Systems Engineer to provide systems engineering and technical advisory services in Chantilly, VA.The successful candidate will:

•Lead the risk issue and opportunity (RIO) process as a member of the risk management team.

•Interface with various site and enterprise level Risk Management boards.

•Interact with Technical Planning Guidance team, architecture steering group, and other strategic forums tied to new acquisitions.

•Develop risk assessments and briefings for a variety of audiences, convey information in a clear and articulate manner to Government leadership.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

•Must be a US Citizen.

•Active TS/SCI with CI polygraph.

•Bachelor's degree in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM)* and five (5) years or more experience; or master's in STEM field and three (3) years or more experience. *contract requirement.

•System engineering life cycle experience; familiar with requirements development, interface control documentation, technical specification review, architecture and CONOPS development.

•Ability to work independently to support multiple government customers and large, complex projects to address organization's needs throughout system development lifecycle.

•Self-starter, readily addresses customer requirements with minimal supervision; defines solutions for broad, abstract topics.

•Motivated to learn, readily applies and shares knowledge.

•Polished communicator (written/verbal), impeccable interpersonal skills and personal judgment.

•Proactive at collaboration and coordination with multiple stakeholdersconsensus builder.

Desired:

•Direct and current experience with National Reconnaissance Office (NRO).

•Knowledge of GEOINT and SIGINT overall space and ground architecture.

•Familiar with Digital Engineering/Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), Agile development, cloud technologies, government technical standards.

•Project management experience with delivered systems.

SAIC accepts applications on an ongoing basis and there is no deadline.
