Job Summary:

Responsible for developing relationships with new small company clients, presenting solutions (custom development / off-the-shelf platform based solutions), identifying the needs of staff augmentations for software development, and completing transactions by giving creative solutions to customers.

Qualifications:

  • 5-10 years sales experience in the IT industry in Kansas and Missouri metro area.
  • BS/MS degree in business administration or a related field.
  • Software sales or similar experience in the Staff Augmentation & Software Project sale.

  • Successful previous experience as a sales representative or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Committed to continuous education through workshops, seminars and conferences.
  • A passion for software solutions and the desire to become an expert with technical products and solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the company sales.
  • Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands companys customer base and ensure its strong presence.
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
  • Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team.
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.
  • Lead go-to-market strategies and planning, including market sizing, segmentation, addressable market analysis, buyer personas, competitive analysis, differentiators, and advising on product, marketing, and sales team plans to introduce innovative products to the market.
  • Work with software partners to establish business arrangements and maintain strong working relationships.

Skills Requirements:

  • Advanced skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint.

  • Outstanding oral and written presentation skills - Communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills.
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
