Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Manufacturing Engineering Manager located in Portland, TN. The Manufacturing Engineering Manager will oversee day-to-day engineering operations, manage process and industrial engineering projects, and ensure manufacturing operations run smoothly. Responsibilities also include leading engineering teams, implementing new technologies, and optimizing production processes.


Qualifications

  • Manufacturing Engineering and Industrial Engineering skills
  • Process Engineering expertise
  • Experience in Engineering Management
  • Strong knowledge of Manufacturing Operations
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
  • Previous experience in automotive manufacturing is a plus
  • Previous experience with metal stamping equipment
  • Previous experience with resistance, mig welding, automation and assembly equipment
  • Previous experince with Toyota Production System
  • Previous experience driving cost reductions
  • Strong background in preventative maintenance
