Overview:


  • Work safely and support safety programs.
  • Develop, execute, and improve personnel procedures and policies while providing guidance and interpretation.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Recommend best practices and maintain knowledge of HR trends.
  • Lead recruiting and onboarding activities.
  • Coordinate and provide new hire orientation.
  • Respond to employee inquiries.
  • Coordinate, track, and improve performance management systems.
  • Attend and participate in employee performance activities as needed.
  • Coordinate organizational development and training.
  • Act as the local Compliance Officer.
  • Lead and support continual improvement.
  • Suggest new procedures and policies to enhance employee experience and HR efficiency.
  • Coordinate and improve the employee recognition program.
  • Safeguard employees' Personal Identifiable Information.
  • Act as the main contact with payroll, benefits, and other HR service providers.
  • Maintain job descriptions for all positions in the organization in conjunction with managers and supervisors.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, related degree, or equivalent experience
  • At least 5 years of Human Resources experience
  • Prior manufacturing experience preferred
  • Self-Motivated: high sense of urgency to achieve results, while having integrity
  • Ability to work in a team environment to achieve business objectives
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to learn
  • Organizational and planning skills
  • Strong customer focus
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • English speaking required; German language skills preferred
