Our client, a provider of Health, Dental, Vision, Medicaid, and Medicare Healthcare service plans in the state of California with 4.7 million members and $22.9 billion of annual revenues, seeks an accomplished Program Manager (Talent Mobility/Learning & Development).

Job Overview:

This person will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing effective communication strategies and programs that support our enterprise Talent Mobility Strategy. This role requires a strong understanding of internal communications. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with excellent writing and interpersonal skills.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:


Strategic Planning:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive communication plans aligned with our talent mobility strategy.
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify key audiences and their communication needs.
  • Set communication goals and objectives, and track progress against these metrics.


Content Creations:

  • Draft and edit a variety of internal communication materials to build a career ownership mindset and culture.
  • Ensure that all content is consistent with the enterprise’s brand guidelines and messaging.
  • Manage communication channels such as interna SharePoint site, internal blogs, and material for town hall presentations.


Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.
  • 5-7 years experience required in corporate communications or internal communications.
  • Strong writing and editing skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.


Additional Comments:

  • We would love to see a writing sample from candidates.
  • It would be ideal if the candidate has worked with Talent Mobility or Learning and Development area previously.


Required Skills (top 3 non-negotiables):

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (PPT, Excel, Word)3 years min
  • Ability to research and synthesize both qualitative and quantitative data to make recommendations
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Microsoft Suite (Proficient), Sharepoint site management (Preferred)
  • Knowledge of computer software, such as MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio etc.


Preferred Skills (nice to have)

  • Experience working in Organization Development and Internal Communications
  • Ability to be a self-starter and work autonomously (Project Ownership)
  • Organizational skills and ability to handle multiple concurrent activities.


Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience/education
  • 5-7 years working experience
