Human Resources Manager

The Human Resources Manager will promote and coordinate activities that encourage a positive and enjoyable work environment; ensure that the facility has a productive workforce, that team members are paid competitively, and that the team members understand and comply with company policies and procedures. This position reports to the Director of Human Resources for Store Operations and Logistics.
As the Human Resource Manager, you will:
Promote and coordinate activities that encourage a positive and enjoyable environment.
Communicate company rules and regulations to team members.
Work closely with the Safety Coordinator in managing the safety program for the Distribution Center.
Ensure staffing levels are maintained according to sales and budget.
Handle all investigations at the facility. Work with the leadership team on corrective actions and terminations.
Ensure team members receive communication pertinent to their jobs and the activities within the company.
Participate in the onboarding process for new hires.
Train new managers and supervisor on HR related topics.
Serve as the key community relations contact for the facility.
Will have one direct report.
Must be flexible to be able to occasionally work both 2nd and 3rd shift.
The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Previous HR Management experience is required.
Previous knowledge working in a production environment (distribution, manufacturing and or Fleet) 5 or more years
Basic presentation and excellent communication skills required
Knowledge of HRIS systems and Kronos
Basic Power Point, Word and Excel experience required
Must be organized and able to manage time effectively
