Job Summary: LHH Recruitment is seeking a dedicated HR Generalist to join our growing client's team on a contract to hire basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in recruitment and employee relations, with industry experience stemming from a manufacturing organization, as well as being fully committed to working onsite in Vancouver. Our client's growth has caused the need to hire, allowing potential for you to further your career and find longevity here


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct full-cycle recruitment efforts, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding new employees.
  • Onboard new hires including new hire paperwork, orientation, benefits administration, and safety trainings.
  • Address employee relations issues, such as work complaints or other employee concerns, with discretion and professionalism.
  • Conduct and document investigations, taking appropriate action as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with department managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.


Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience as HR Generalist or similar position.
  • Strong understanding of the manufacturing industry is required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
  • Knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
