Greenberry Industrial is looking for a Human Resources Specialist. We have a super warm caring team - who put employees first. We are located right near the Columbia River in Vancouver, WA with easy parking

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Extensive communication with employees when they have questions on Onboarding or other personnel related matters. Must offer both professionalism and appropriate empathy.
    • You’ll be working closely with employees from across the country and must be comfortable handling repeated phone calls and interruptions while maintaining a professional upbeat demeanor.  
    • You’ll need to be genuinely friendly and must handle stress well. This role is perfect for someone who loves working with people and who is customer service oriented.
  • Intensive daily data entry. You’ll be entering new hire/rehire/termination information in Viewpoint daily.
    • Ensure new hire and term paperwork is accurate when you enter into the system.
  • Work with payroll and human resources colleagues to investigate when there is missing information.
  • Intensive daily filing. You’ll need to keep up with accurate electronic filing daily. This is an important part of your job.
  • Ensure our leaders have the appropriate new hire forms to fill out and you’ll also conduct federal E-Verify checks for new hires.
  • Process background checks for prospective new hires.
  • Initiate pre-employment drug screens and work closely with the clinics.  
    • You’ll initiate and schedule all drug screens and communicate with clinics and leaders to ensure that our drug screens are executed in a timely and compliant manner.
  • Run a series of verifications and reports, including E-Verify for new employees.
  • Work closely with Payroll to send Employee Action Notifications daily and in a timely manner.
  • Support Region HR Champions on Employee Portal Onboarding.
  • Safety is our number one priority. It is your responsibility to work safely and to ensure that those around you also work safely.

 

 

 

 

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Must have outstanding communication. Have skill and ability to actively listen, be empathetic, conduct yourself professionally on the phone and in person.
  • Must be an excellent and accurate typist.
  • Must be able enter data on the keyboard over long periods of time.
  • Must be able to sit for long periods of time.
  • Must be a collaborative team player with great initiative.
  • Must be comfortable with and quickly learn new systems and applications to support business needs.

Qualifications

  • Must have at least two years of experience working with employee onboarding.
  • Preference with someone with drug screening administration experience.
  • Preference for someone who has worked with Viewpoint.
  • Must have at least two years working in Human Resources.
  • Proficient in MS Office, including advanced Excel skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR is a plus.

Salary/Benefits

  • $25.00 - $30.00 / hr. -----Based on Experience
  • Weekly pay frequency
  • 401k Match at 100% of the First 3% Employee Contribution, plus 50% of the next 2%
