Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in extensive communication with employees regarding onboarding and personnel inquiries, demonstrating professionalism and empathy.
  • Perform daily data entry tasks, ensuring accuracy in new hire, rehire, and termination information within our systems.
  • Collaborate with payroll and HR colleagues to resolve any discrepancies in employee information.
  • Maintain organized electronic filing systems to ensure all documentation is up-to-date.
  • Facilitate the completion of new hire forms and conduct federal E-Verify checks.
  • Coordinate background checks for potential hires and manage pre-employment drug screening processes.
  • Generate various reports and verifications, including E-Verify for new employees.
  • Assist Payroll with timely Employee Action Notifications.
  • Support HR Champions in onboarding processes through the Employee Portal.
  • Prioritize safety in all operations and promote a safe working environment for all employees.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to actively listen and respond with empathy.
  • Proficient typing skills with a focus on accuracy.
  • Ability to perform data entry tasks for extended periods.
  • Strong collaborative skills and a proactive approach to teamwork.
  • Adaptability to learn new systems and applications quickly.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of two years of experience in employee onboarding.
  • Experience in drug screening administration is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Viewpoint software is a plus.
  • At least two years of experience in a Human Resources role.
  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly advanced Excel skills.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Hourly Rate: $30.00, based on experience.
  • Weekly pay schedule.
