Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in extensive communication with employees regarding onboarding and personnel inquiries, demonstrating professionalism and empathy.
- Perform daily data entry tasks, ensuring accuracy in new hire, rehire, and termination information within our systems.
- Collaborate with payroll and HR colleagues to resolve any discrepancies in employee information.
- Maintain organized electronic filing systems to ensure all documentation is up-to-date.
- Facilitate the completion of new hire forms and conduct federal E-Verify checks.
- Coordinate background checks for potential hires and manage pre-employment drug screening processes.
- Generate various reports and verifications, including E-Verify for new employees.
- Assist Payroll with timely Employee Action Notifications.
- Support HR Champions in onboarding processes through the Employee Portal.
- Prioritize safety in all operations and promote a safe working environment for all employees.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to actively listen and respond with empathy.
- Proficient typing skills with a focus on accuracy.
- Ability to perform data entry tasks for extended periods.
- Strong collaborative skills and a proactive approach to teamwork.
- Adaptability to learn new systems and applications quickly.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of two years of experience in employee onboarding.
- Experience in drug screening administration is preferred.
- Familiarity with Viewpoint software is a plus.
- At least two years of experience in a Human Resources role.
- Proficient in MS Office, particularly advanced Excel skills.
- A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources is advantageous.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Hourly Rate: $30.00, based on experience.
- Weekly pay schedule.
