Realta Wealth is seeking a specialist experienced with both broker-dealer and investment adviser transitions, preferably in the independent space. Responsibilities will include corresponding with prospective representatives and their support staff, educating them as to the firm’s onboarding process, assisting with completing on-boarding paperwork, and successfully managing the representatives through the on-boarding process in order to become fully registered with the firm and to successfully transition their business to Realta Wealth.


Responsibilities

  • Providing a world class advisor onboarding experience, ability to excel in a fast-paced environment, and a professional demeanor are of the utmost importance.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Compliance with regulatory requirements and internal procedures.
  • Robust communication skills and professionalism when dealing with financial professionals and their customers.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities and differing personalities among our advisors.
  • Expert familiarity with operations topics including ACATs, broker-dealer changes, transitioning advisory practice/books of business and re- papering requirements.
  • Knowledge of direct “check and app” business, especially alternative investments preferred.
  • Strong familiarity with the financial services industry, financial products, broker/dealer and RIA operations.
  • Ability to work independently or part of a group on projects, process improvements or day-to- day operational requirements.
  • Ability to identify, create, and implement process improvements.
  • Project planning experience preferred.
  • Maintain records and files as outlined in policies and procedures.
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional environment.
  • Research and support operational and business issues in support of financial advisers and firm staff as needed.
  • Performs other duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, are client-focused, team oriented, and are able to execute in a way that encourages creativity and continuous improvement.     
  • Ability to communicate effectively with advisors, their staff, colleagues, leadership, and internal recruiters.
  • Ability to build trust, gain the confidence of advisors, and understand their unique needs.
  • Minimum 2+ years of financial service experience, preferably working with advisors.
  • Experience hosting webinars and presenting to small and large groups.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or economics preferred or relevant experience.
  • Must be able to travel up to 15% of the time.
  • FINRA Series 99 and SIE required; additional securities licenses a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • Proficient with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Proficient with Docusign, Docupace, and Salesforce.
  • Experience with operations and transitioning financial professional’s books of businesses to Axos, First Clearing, or other clearing firms a plus.
  • Exhibits integrity, professionalism, practical judgment, positive attitude at all times; exhibits perseverance, leadership, mental toughness and initiative in the face of problems and challenges; must be able to take direction and accept constructive criticism.
