Position Overview
The Community Integration Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the Director of Sales and Leasing and the Sales and Leasing Counselor in facilitating the transition of new residents into the community. This position requires excellent communication skills, organizational abilities, creativity, and the capacity to prioritize tasks effectively. The Coordinator is responsible for fostering positive relationships with local businesses, professionals, and organizations, ensuring a smooth admission process for new residents and their families.
Key Responsibilities :
- Uphold and promote a philosophy that respects the dignity, privacy, independence, choice, and individuality of all residents.
- Cultivate relationships with prospective residents and develop personalized transition plans.
- Oversee the admissions process to guarantee satisfaction for both residents and their families.
- Analyze floor plans and assist in the arrangement of furniture layouts.
- Maintain a robust network of referral sources, delivering information through marketing materials or presentations as necessary.
- Actively engage in the completion of special projects, requests, and assignments as required.
- Provide assistance to fellow Marketing Team Members to ensure effective and timely follow-up on the database.
- Support the management of the Resident Referral Program.
- Execute additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills :
- Fundamental understanding of sales and marketing principles as they pertain to senior living.
- Proven customer service skills and a commitment to working in a service-oriented environment.
- Exceptional public speaking, communication, and presentation abilities.
- Proficient in computer and internet applications, including the Microsoft Office suite.
- Demonstrates accountability for assigned responsibilities and completes tasks accurately and promptly.
- Capable of establishing specific, measurable, attainable, relevant, and timely goals and objectives.
- Able to present information clearly and communicate effectively, even in high-pressure situations.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, which may include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong organizational skills, capable of multitasking and managing time to meet frequently changing deadlines in a dynamic environment.
Education & Experience :
- A college degree in Marketing or a related field is preferred.
- A minimum of one year of experience in an assisted living community is preferred.
