Talent Acquisition Specialist

San Diego, 92127

Pay range: $40-44/hr.

Contract Assignment 3 months +

Responsibilities:

· Collaborate with hiring partners to understand their business strategy and identify specific skills needed for critical roles such as Project Managers, Project Engineers, and technicians within the renewable energy field.

· Maintain the metrics and KPIs as set forth by the Talent Acquisition Manager

· Manage candidate pipeline by continuously building and maintaining talent simultaneously showing responsiveness to all candidate inquiries

· Source quality candidates for all positions across multiple states, including remote areas, through the use of social media, employee referrals, external hiring platforms, community outreach, and internal databases

· Work on multiple high priority recruiting projects in a competitive environment at any given time

· Establish and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers and other key stakeholders

· Apply Company’s HR recruiting best practices to all activities

· Mentor or train junior level recruiters on Talent Acquisition

What you need:

· 3-5+ years of full life cycle recruiting experience within the construction, renewable energy industry or other growing industry

· Working knowledge of basic employment law surrounding recruiting, screening, and onboarding processes

· Ability to understand various trades to best match candidates to roles, functions, skill levels

· Previous experience with bulk recruiting preferred.

· Experience with creating Boolean searches, knowledge of industry related job boards and talent pipeline cultivation.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of applications

· Experience in Workday and/or other Applicant Tracking Systems required

· Ability to work with a strong sense of urgency and manage numerous requisitions simultaneously under tight timelines

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strength in dealing with a wide variety of individuals at various levels within and outside of the organization
