Client: Large retail client

Location: Onsite once a week in the following locations:

Chicago, IL; Scarborough, ME; Quincy, MA; Salisbury, NC; Carlisle, PA; Greenville, SC

Duration: 6mo+ contract


Top 3 requirements:

  • 5 years + BA experience
  • Experience working on an HR project- Needs to understand technical side of HR, not the processes. Should understand how requirements effect IT, naming conventions and impacts and flows of decisions throughout organization.
  • Comfortable working in an ambiguous environment. Requirements are not clearly defined so this person needs to fill in gaps to define those.


Day to Day Responsibilities/project specifics:

The business analyst will be responsible for documenting all phases of work including gathering requirements, functional design and requirements traceability. Reviewing and validating QA test plans and supporting QA team during test execution. Ensuring change control and change management procedures are followed within the program/project as they relate to requirements. Documenting report requirements through engagement with business process SMEs. Contributes to Business Case Development through information gathering and analysis.


The team is implementing a new module in SuccessFactors. This person needs to be able to connect the dots, understand what from previous module will be going away and what will be used instead, figuring out if multiple modules are needed. This person needs to be comfortable pushing back on requirements and not letting Developers or Systems Analysts do the pushing. Needs to understand new module integrations.


Any experience with HR integration modules is required - ex. SAP, Workday, PeopleSoft, SuccessFactors
