VP of Enterprise Applications
The VP of Enterprise Applications will be responsible for leading all aspects of the company’s technology initiatives as well as optimizing existing assets. This role will report to the CFO and have three direct reports.
S/he will serve as a key member of the senior management team and will be a leader in driving growth for the company. S/he will also bring ideas to modernize processes.
Primary Responsibilities and Activities
- Strategic leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for enterprise applications that supports business goals and objectives. Own, maintain, and promote awareness of the application's strategic roadmap.
- Team leadership and development: fosters innovation, excellence, and ongoing improvement.
- Portfolio management: Oversee the management of our enterprise applications portfolio, ensuring it meets current and future business requirements. Evaluate and prioritize objects based on strategic alignment, return on investment, and risk. Perform ongoing buy-build-customization analyses for current and future components of the portfolio. Identify opportunities for system modernization, integration, automation, and rationalization.
- Manage master data across applications.
- Vendor management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key vendors and partners.
- Develop a nuanced understanding of strategic vendors’ roadmaps and how these will support the company’s business objectives
Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, business administration, or a related field. A master’s degree or MBA is highly preferred.
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in IT, with at least five years in a leadership role managing enterprise applications.
- Proven track record of leading digital transformation initiatives and implementing large-scale IT projects.
- Extensive experience with ERP, CRM, DW, and other business-critical applications
- Demonstrated success in vendor and stakeholder management.
Additional core skills
- Understanding of e-commerce and Amazon Marketplace
- Ability to integrate the BI system with third-party systems and NetSuite environment
- Ability to make sure data flows seamlessly through systems
- Ability to handle ambiguity and achieve high level of execution
